Common marble in the domestic market
Before introducing our new marble coffee table, let’s briefly introduce some marble varieties. These types are the ones we have decided to make in the future after we have visited Shuitou, Fujian many times in recent years. These varieties are also widely used in the world, especially in Italian furniture.
1. Carrara marble
Carrara white marble is the basic model of Italian white marble, but even the basic model is several times more expensive than white marble from other countries.
The quality of this stone mainly depends on grayscale and transparency. Over the years, Garro has sold hundreds of Carrara white marble tables, all of which use the highest quality Carrara white marble on the market.
High-quality Carrara white marble has a transparent base color, not gray, and has a large number of gray feather-like patterns on the top.
The white marble on the domestic market may be mostly Greek white marble, such as jazz white and asa white. Or Croatian marble, Yugoslav white. The common problem of these white stones is that they are not transparent enough, the white is very turbid, and visually similar to artificial stone (of course, the texture is better than that of artificial stone). We never considered using Greek or Croatian marble.
2. Statuario
Snowflake marble is a high-end version of Italian white marble. The color texture is similar to Carrara White, but the gray texture is not as much as Carrara White, which is more atmospheric. The price is much more expensive than Carrara White.

3. Guangxi White Marble
Guangxi white is a marble made in China. The reason why Guangxi white is listed separately, but there is no special recommendation for Greek and Croatian marble, is because Guangxi white has good permeability. The so-called permeability means that when the stone is seen with the naked eye, it does not feel cloudy, but it feels more translucent and warm.
However, the problems of most Guangxi white marbles are that the material is soft and the texture is not fine enough; the background color is not pure enough, and there are obvious crystalline impurities on the surface; These shortcomings determine their prices will not be high.
High-quality Guangxi white marble has good color and permeability, and looks good from a distance, but a lot of crystalline impurities can be seen close up.
4. Italian Verde Alpi and Indian Green
Green marble is loved by many people and is relatively easy to see. A few years ago, when we often went to India on business trips, we saw cases where all the high-end hotels used Indian flowers and greens to cover the floors and walls.
There are two common types of green marbles on the market, Italian Floral Green and Indian Floral Green. The expensive ones are Italian florets. The cashiers of the offline store of Jialuo Life in Beijing use Italian florets. The color of Indian florets is more gorgeous and deep. Although it is not as attractive as Italian florets, ordinary people will be more likely to catch it at a glance.

5. Lauren black gold and Black marquina from Tunisia
Black marble is also dark marble, and it is a rare marble variety that is not produced in Italy.
There are two common black marbles on the market, one is Laurent black gold marble from Tunisia, black with gold lines. The other is Chinese black and white root marble, black with white lines.
These two kinds of marble, exposed to the air for a long time, are easy to oxidize and turn gray.

6. Italian, Turkish and Iranian Travertines
Travertine is a type of limestone, also known as tuff or travertine. Just because it is usually classified as marble products, it is often called marble. The main component is calcium carbonate, which is easily dissolved and corroded by water, so there will be many natural irregular holes on the surface.
Travertine irregular holes present a strong natural rough style, fine texture in performance, heat insulation and sound insulation, and have been loved by architects since ancient times.
